This is the first post on my new blog. I agree with Oscar, you can pretend to be anyone or anything to please, impress or gain the affections of others; but inside you are still you!
Just over 2 years ago my mother died from COPD – caused by years of smoking. I had given up smoking years before after suffering a TIA and a heart attack. I lost 5 stone started exercise, walking, running, eating healthier. Got to where I was happy with myself and stopped.
Last year I was diagnosed with COPD – a death sentence? Last week I was told I probably had a tumour on my kidney/s. So now I have to find a way forward……….
Because I refuse point blank to just sit and wait for death, if it wants me it can come and find me.
